When The Authors Pen Goes Dry

Well today its the authors keyboard. However, and just imagine the days of a author using a pen to write a manuscript or quite possibly one of those old time typewriters. Whoa! Just imagine writing a manuscript all in ink. Now that's a major project. I'll bet publishers just loved that.

As a author, sometime the ink in my pen seems to dry up and I find myself searching for content and story lines. Maybe you too. When I hit those days and sometimes weeks, I take the time to visit some other online sites / blogs and enjoy the reads of others.

So if your finding writers cramps cramping the flow of your pen. Take a break and take in some great reading. Pick a interesting subject and perform a online word search and simply take in all the great writings.

Brain Virus's

The mind is like a computer. If one's not careful the data corrupts and overloads the system. Next thing you know the trash can has your name on it and the mouse won't work, and your keyboard gets caked with junk. One good look in the mirror and you realize your screen's got a virus.

Be careful what you download into your brain.

Spoiled Rotten Eggs

What aroma do you put off. Do you have a sweet loving aroma about you. Are you sincere, truthful, loving, compassionate or do you smell liked rotten spoiled eggs? An egg yoke is protected by a shell. In side that shell is where the yoke is found. What's beneath you're shell?

We should all have a wonderful beautiful aroma about us, and not that of spoiled rotten eggs.

That Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind Additude

Have you ever encountered a situation when someone owed you money that they promised to give to you, yet you never received it. Or maybe someone promised to take care of another matter, yet that too never came to pass. Next think you know, the person does everything they can to avoid you. That's because they don't want to be held accountable.

What the don't realize it that they are accountable and their actions or shall we say non actions will catch up with them and many times they will be multiplied bakc upon them in other areas of their life. You see, we all reap what we sow and if we sow dishonesty and broken promises, we will reap the fruit of such things.

Walking Through Your Dreams

The pursuit of success can take on many shapes and forms. Usually a thought comes forth, an idea. Then that thought or idea is put into motion. Very much like planting seeds in the ground. The seeds must be good seeds, the soil must be good soil and the process requires patience for growth.

The key is not quitting after you've cultivated the soil and planted the seeds. If fear of failure sets in and you walk away, the weeds may grow up and destroy your harvest.

Never give up on your dreams, don't change course in mid stream and be careful of people that stick their nose in your river. For they may end up like beavers that create dams and stop the rivers flow.

Success And Trees

Success doesn't fall of trees. It's planted one seed at a time, watered with hard work, patience and brought forth in persistence.

Keeping The Flame Burning

Sometimes we all seem to give up and quit just a tad too soon. It's like the sardines vs. the tuna. We plan our game plan, put things into motion and then right about the time it's time to set sail, we give in and quit. Sad. Other times we do all our homework, put our plans into motion and start bragging about our accomplishments before we win the race only to give up because something fell short of our desires. The reality is that success is staying the course and finishing what we set out to do.

Now who would want a bucket of sardines when you could have some huge nets filled with tuna? Imagine the captain of a ship setting sail for a big catch, for tons of tuna only to set anchor just outside the break water. Can you see the sea gulls feasting on the spoiled sardines? Many times that is exactly what we do. Rather than staying the course and sometimes even facing our fears, we throw in the towel.

There is more to writing sayings that pushing them or selling them to others. You must live them. Otherwise your flame burns out.

It's Time For New Ink

The Ink Of The Pen

Have you ever wondered how many papers get written, stacked up, and never become anything more that stacks collecting dust. Billions.

Don't end up like the billions. Start with a few simple things, define them, dream them, produce them and breath life into them.

There are millions and millions of good story tellers. But every once in a while some great ones come along, accomplish great things and complete the dreams they started.

We all do it. We get busy with everyday life and before we know it weeks, months and sometimes years go by and we haven't written that grand parent, mom, dad, or relative.

So hey, don't delay. Send someone special a special surprise. Buy a postage stamp and send a letter.

Life Perspective

Life sometimes comes with those difficulties, those trials, the hardships and many other unfortunate situations. However life also comes with blessings. You see, there are many seasons and we all encounter them.

However If we look past whatever life may be throwing at us. We can enjoy the blessings. Like family and friends.

Blessings to each of you.
