Do You Know Jesus

Philippians 3:10 That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.

In Matthew 7:20-23 we get a glimpse of Judgment Day, when Jesus tells some of the people who had been going to Church, that He never knew them.

Many will respond that they had prophesied and done many wonders in His name. Some had been working for the Lord, but were not working with the Lord. They did not have an intimate relationship, nor were they entwined with Him.

Today may your prayer be, “That I may know Him.” To really know the Lord, spend time with Him daily. Aim to say or think things that will be pleasing to Him. Some may be able to get by with doing certain things, that possibly the Lord would not be pleased with for you. His comment to you could be, “You may do it, but I prefer you don’t. The more you obey His wishes, the more He will reveal Himself to you.
