2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
God has provided salvation for everyone, however, not all men will accept. Put away ungodliness, because this is against the nature of God, as your righteousness does not save you. It is only the mercy of God that permits you to believe in Jesus and accept Him as your personal Savior.
One of the duties of the Holy Spirit is to convict people of sin in their lives, see John 16:8-11. A person can constantly turn the Holy Spirit down if he wants to, but he will finally get to the place where the Holy Spirit will leave and not try to convict him any more. Genesis 6:3 tells you the Holy Spirit will not always strive or convict. Choose to follow Him now!
